WELCOME! Troops 505 & 1505, Naperville, Illinois
Set yourself down at our virtual campfire!Troop 505, "The Prairie Troop", was chartered in 1964 and has been a continuously active troop in Naperville, Illinois, a southwestern suburb of Chicago, since its inception. We are chartered by Knox Presbyterian Church, located at the corner of Gartner Road and Catalpa Lane in Naperville, Illinois.
Many Scouts have graduated from the troop with the skills, values and self-confidence necessary to guide them through their entire adult life. Troop 505 has awarded over 220 Scouts their Eagle rank, the highest rank a Boy Scout can attain. The values we and the Boy Scouts of America strive to instill are based on those found in the Scout Oath and Law.
Troop 1505 for girls was chartered in 2019 and has hit the ground running, with a strong contingent of scouts and leaders dedicated to providing the same quality program for girls. Troop 1505 has awarded 8 Scouts their Eagle rank. We look forward to seeing more Eagle Scouts from Troop 1505 in the future.

All-Girls Troop
Scouts BSA Troop 1505 is one of the first Scout Troops for Girls. In February 2019, Knox Presbyterian chartered the troop, we are one of the first in the nation BSA Scout Troops for Girls. We are recruiting Scouts for this unit now, and have planned events to introduce young women to Scouting. If you have a daughter age 11-17 (or know one), please contact us!
